Connecting Facebook
Connect your Facebook Page to schedule and post videos directly from VDClip. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know before and during the connection process.
Before You Start
Before attempting to connect your Facebook Page, make sure you have all the following requirements ready:
- ✓Facebook Page
You must have a Facebook Page created. Personal profiles cannot be connected.

You need admin access to the Facebook Page you want to connect.
- ✓Compliance with Facebook Guidelines
Your Facebook Page must comply with Facebook’s community standards and terms of service.
Step-by-Step Connection Guide
Follow these detailed steps to connect your Facebook Page to VDClip:
📅 Step 1: Access Calendar and Social Accounts
Navigate to the Calendar section in your VDClip dashboard, then access the Social Accounts settings.
🔗 Step 2: Click “Connect Account” and Select Facebook
In the Social Accounts section, click on the “Connect Account” button. This button is used to connect social media accounts. A popup will open showing available platforms. Select Facebook from the available options to begin the connection process.
🔐 Step 3: Facebook OAuth Authorization
You’ll be redirected to Facebook’s authorization page. Follow these sub-steps:
3.1 Validate Facebook Account
First, validate that you’re logged into the correct Facebook account that has admin access to the Facebook Page you want to connect. If it’s the correct account, proceed to the next step.
3.2 Select Facebook Pages
Select the Facebook Pages you want to link with the VDClip integration. You can select one or multiple pages if you have admin access to them.
3.3 Select Facebook Business
Select the Facebook Business that you created and that has a connection with your Facebook Page.
3.4 Accept Permissions
Accept the necessary permissions to allow VDClip to manage your Facebook Page, publish content, and access page insights.
Note: If you also plan to connect an Instagram account that is linked to this Facebook Page, you will need to accept Instagram-related permissions as well. If you’re only using Facebook, you don’t need to accept Instagram permissions.
✨ Step 4: Select Facebook Page
After completing the Facebook authorization, you’ll be redirected back to the VDClip platform. You’ll be able to see your Facebook Page available for connection. Simply select the Facebook Page you want to use to finalize the integration and start using it for posts and scheduling.
Once you select the page, your Facebook integration will be complete and ready to use for scheduling and posting content.
