Viewing Results
After processing completes, the results page shows all the clips VDClip generated from your video. Here you can preview clips, render them as final videos, rate their quality, and publish them to social media.
Results Layout
The results page provides two viewing modes:
Grid View
Displays clips as visual cards with video previews. Best for quickly scanning through your results and comparing clips side by side.
List View
Shows clips in a vertical list with more details visible at once. Useful when you need to see titles, durations, and status in a compact format.
Toggle between views using the view switcher at the top of the results page.
Clip Information
Each clip card displays:
- Video preview: A player that lets you preview the clip directly
- Title: The AI-generated title for the clip
- Duration: How long the clip is
- Status: Whether the clip is rendered or pending render
- Actions: Render, rate, and post buttons
Previewing Clips
Click the play button on any clip card to preview it directly in the browser. The video player lets you watch the full clip before deciding whether to render or publish it.
Rendering Clips
Clips must be rendered before they can be downloaded or posted to social media. You have two options:
Single Render
To render an individual clip:
Find the clip
Browse through your results to find the clip you want to render.
Click Render
Click the “Render” button on the clip card.
Wait for completion
The clip will be rendered in the background. Its status changes to “Rendered” when complete.
Batch Render
To render multiple clips at once:
Select clips
Use the selection controls to choose which clips you want to render.
Click Batch Render
Click the “Render” button to start rendering all selected clips.
Track progress
Each clip renders independently. You can monitor progress as each one completes.
Each render consumes credits from your account. The number of credits used depends on the clip duration and your plan. Check the pricing page for your plan’s render limits.
Rating Clips
Rate clip quality using the like and dislike buttons on each clip card. Your ratings help VDClip improve its AI clip selection over time.
The clip is good quality and well-selected
The clip is not useful or poorly selected
Post History
For clips that have been published to social media, the results page shows a post history section. This lets you see:
- Which platforms the clip was posted to
- When each post was published
- The status of each post (published, scheduled, failed)
This helps you track which clips have already been shared and avoid posting duplicates.
Publishing Clips
Click the “Post” button on any rendered clip to open the posting flow. This takes you to the posting page where you can configure platform-specific settings and schedule or publish immediately.
Tips & Best Practices
Always preview a clip before rendering to make sure it captures the right moment and has good quality. This saves render credits.
Batch render is efficient when you have identified multiple clips worth publishing. Review previews first to avoid wasting credits on clips you will not use.
Rating clips helps VDClip learn your preferences and improve future clip generation. Take a moment to like or dislike each result.
Before posting a clip, check its post history to see if it has already been published to the platform you are targeting.
Switch between grid and list views to find the layout that works best for your workflow. Grid view is great for visual browsing, while list view helps compare details.
