Invitation Notifications
When someone invites you to a team in VDClip, you receive a pending invitation that appears on your dashboard. You can accept to join the team or decline to ignore it.
Viewing Pending Invitations
Pending invitations appear in a dedicated card on your dashboard. Each invitation shows:
- Team name: The name of the team inviting you
- Invited by: The name of the person who sent the invitation
- Role: The role you will be assigned (Owner, Admin, or Member)
- Accept and Decline buttons
Accepting an Invitation
Find the Invitation
Look for the pending invitations card on your dashboard. It only appears when you have at least one pending invitation.
Review the Details
Check the team name, who invited you, and what role you will receive.
Click Accept
Click the green Accept button. You are immediately added to the team with the assigned role.
Switch to the Team
After accepting, use the account switcher in the sidebar to switch to your new team.
Declining an Invitation
If you do not want to join a team:
- Find the invitation in the pending invitations card
- Click the Decline button
- The invitation is removed from your list
Declining an invitation does not prevent the team from sending you a new one in the future.

Tips & Best Practices
Pending invitations only appear on your dashboard. Log in periodically to see if you have new team invitations waiting.
Check what role you are being assigned. If you need a different role, ask the team Owner to adjust it after you join.
Accept or decline invitations in a timely manner so team managers know whether to expect you on the team.
